The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Several Despicable Me and Minion films demonstrate that Illumination has produced family-friendly films for quite some time. Several fans disliked Chris Pratt’s selection as the voice of the handyman hero, but his charisma from The Lego Movie might provide the film with a much-needed boost.

Renfield

The synopsis states, “Count Dracula’s servant Renfield gets a fresh start in modern-day New Orleans when he falls in love with Rebecca Quincy, a fiery and often violent traffic enforcer.”
The film will be humorous and provide a new aspect of one of literature’s most well-known servant-master combinations.
The film is both frightening and humorous, but it also appears to be an action film since Dracula provides Renfield with magical abilities to confront evildoers. Nicolas Holt is well-known as the Beast in the X-Men prequels, but we can expect some spectacular action. Dracula is added to the mix.
Chris McKay, the director of Renfield, claims this is the only straight sequel to the 1931 release of Tod Browning’s Dracula. He even attempted to market his items with this knowledge.

Universal Studios attempts to revive and modernise some of its most iconic monsters from the Golden Age of Hollywood. It will be difficult to redeem the Dark Universe, but will this add to Dracula’s long list of accomplishments? The project will be directed and produced by Christopher McKay (The Lego Batman, The Tomorrow War) and his partner Samantha Nisenboim and Skybound Entertainment’s David Alpert, Bryan Furst, and Sean Furst.

Evil Dead Rise
The first Evil Dead film in 10 years does not occur in a cabin in the woods, but the demonic book still gives everyone foolish enough to read it nightmares. This time, the drama takes place in an apartment in Los Angeles, where the trash-talking Deadites pull a family apart (both figuratively and possibly literally). Ash, played by Bruce Campbell, is absent, but chainsaws will be utilised.
Lee Cronin, director of The Hole in the Dark, believes transferring the action to the metropolis makes perfect sense. Sam Raimi, the original filmmaker, is also an executive producer. “A portion of the claustrophobia must remain,” he stated.
“And that transitioned rather nicely from the cottage to the metropolis. This is a story about a family trapped in their flat in a dilapidated building. The only difference is that it is set in the present.”

The Pope’s Exorcist
The fact that The Pope’s Exorcist is a historical horror movie offers a fresh perspective on the familiar demon vs priest plot. Amorth’s case files inspired the film. He performed approximately one hundred thousand exorcisms and recorded each one.
The Pope picked the showy and controversial priest, who is notorious for throwing the devil the finger to initiate exorcisms. He also established the International Association of Exorcists, which was sanctioned by the Vatican and comprised hundreds of exorcists from throughout the globe.
Russell Crowe earned an Academy Award for his performance in Gladiator. In the film, he portrays the Vatican’s official chief exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth, whose case files inspired the plot. Crowe has been in religious cinema previously. He portrayed Noah in the Bible-inspired drama Noah by Darren Aronofsky.
The Pope assigns Amorth his latest mission: to assist a little kid afflicted by an exceedingly terrible demon. Franco Nero, who has been in Django and John Wick: Chapter 2, portrays the child. Ralph Ineson, renowned for his appearances in The Witch and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will utilise his signature baritone voice to show the demon beast that battles Amorth.
The film was shot in Ireland from August to October 2022, following a change in director and writer. Sony Pictures Releasing will distribute on April 14, 2023.
